Lucky Channel Fansubs

Hi, this is Alternity your friendly webmaster and hoster of the Lucky Channel site.  I thought since all of you have been waiting so patiently that I’d update you on what’s going on with Lucky Channel.

So first the bad news.  Basically Kururu has gone MIA.  Since this happened Chou has lost all motivation and is not very interested in continueing fansubbing unless Kururu comes back, but honestly I wouldn’t hold my breath for that.  Chou also is not online much anymore.

So good news.  Before he left Chou translated KO7.  Skai and I am currently the only active members of Lucky Channel.  Skai has timed the episode already.  Sadly, since we can’t find Chou he did not upload the styling and kara for KO so we don’t have that.   I’l be able to steal the kara from previous episodes, but it looks like your going to get Alternity style subtitles and signs in this episode :).  I’m not going to give any ETA on this episode though, except as soon as I possibly can get it out.

Since chou and kururu are gone we no longer have any translators. While skai can time and I can do everything else, neither of are fluent in Japanese.  So we need translators for the future of fansubbing KO!  So PLEASE, if you speak Japanese at least semi-fluently get in contact with us so that we can continue subbing this great show!  We really want to, but unless we have a translator we cannot!  The future of Lucky Channel depends on you.

Also were probably going to drop Lucky Star for the time being, since were way behind and the other fansub groups are doing a great job.  This may change when Chou gets back.
